Speech-Language Pathologist
In the first few years of life, more than 1 million new neural connections are formed every second (Center on the Developing Child, 2007). My mission is to help children build a strong foundation for communication development in the critical early years. While working in a publicly-funded program, I saw families facing long waitlists so I started my private practice to help families access services sooner rather than later.
I received my Master of Health Science degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Toronto in 2010. I am registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and I value continuing education to ensure I am providing high-quality, evidence-based services. I particularly love working with toddlers who are just starting to use words and older children with speech sound difficulties. My favorite thing to hear is “now, my child won’t stop talking!”. My interests include art and photography and I look for ways to be creative at work and at home. My favorite books are Charlotte's Web and anything written by Lisa Genova.
